Velvet skirt by japanese designer yoshiki hishinuma (circa 1990s). Made from thick, extremely soft blend of rayon and polyester (it might even be appropriate to call it "lustrous" - truly one of the most exquisite velvets), it sits a little above the waist and has a pleasing flared shape. The skirt is closest to silver or grey in colour, but sometimes appears blue-ish or purple-y depending on how it catches the light.
