Trench coat by tricot comme des garcons (1998). Made from striped, dark navy wool, it has double-breasted front, slightly angled welt pockets, faint shaping through waist then flared to hem. A number of the smaller details you'd expect from a traditional trench (epaulets, storm flap, buttoned cuffs), but no belt (beltless, or perhaps beltfree).
