Presented here a black wool skirt from TRICOT COMME DES GARCONS. Produced in 1992, the skirt's most striking detail is a white zig zag stitch motif which has been sewn over a number of seams that run across the skirt. This zig zag stitch creates the impression of a repair, used to reinforce the seams where repairs have been made, and is a stark contrast with the crisp, black wool fabric.

It should be noted that there are a couple of small holes near the hem of the skirt, but they are not especially visible when worn.
