A black coat by Japanese brand THE VIRIDI-ANNE, made from a lightweight, slightly stiff linen. It has a two way convertible collar, a covered front placket with large metal press studs that are stitched in by hand, and hand pockets which are incorporated into curved seams that run down the front of the body. The sleeves are particularly unusual, with a raglan construction and a number of large tucks on the inside arms that create a dramatic, curved shape and pull the sleeves to the front of the body. A back vent provides additional movement, and the coat is unlined but beautifully finished on the inside.
The coat is in like new condition, with tags, and retailed for 59,850 yen (around $700 AUD).
