Men’s Ba-tsu 1980s padded reversible burgundy nylon MA-1 bomber jacket
Reversible, heavyweight padded MA-1 bomber jacket by men's ba-tsu (late 1980s). Made in a striking burgundy or wine coloured nylon, it is a fairly faithful execution of an MA-1 style produced to an extremely high standard. Details are as you'd expect: zip front, ribbing at neck, cuffs, and hem, buttoned flap pockets at the waist and single zipped shoulder pocket at the shoulder. Reverse size has embroidered, very wordy ba-tsu branding-cum-slogan, as follows:
"Genuine clothes created specifically / for men who count / who know exactly what they want from life / men who've experienced hardship / men who've got noble hearts
THIS LABEL ON OUR GARMENT / IDENTIFIES GENUINE MEN'S BA-TSU / STANDARD & TRADITION
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED / everytime - curiosity working garment / tough tailored for extra / high quality wear / produced by BA-TSU co., Itd.
We won't boast to you / about our fashion products / Try them and feel them for yourself"
(have to say, it feels like there was a boast or two in there, and "we won't boast to you about our fashion products / try them and feel them for yourself" feels a bit like a boast in its own right, just one with plausible deniability built in)
