A sleeveless top by M.E. ISSEY MIYAKE. Produced in an unusual braided material with a flat, almost crushed finish, the top is predominantly a rich, deep blue, with an irregular, white floral pattern and further slivers of white showing through from the inside. This effect has been produced by garment printing, where the top has first been made up completely in the white base material, and then the blue has been printed onto the surface, leaving some areas of white exposed to create the floral pattern. You can see this by looking at the inside of the blouse, as the print has been transferred along the front neck but nowhere else. The top could accordingly be worn inside out, as a white blouse with one patch of blue at the back neck.
