cropped open jacket

$240.00

This black, cropped jacket by LIMI FEU, the daughter of Yohji Yamamoto, is made up in a dense, substantial wool gabardine fabric. It is meant to be worn open, with no buttons or any other closure on the front placket. The only closures on the entire garment are concealed press studs at the cuff, which gives the whole garment a sleek quality. There are several other details of note, particularly two thin self-fabric bands that run across the top of the jacket and are stitched down in places to vaguely resemble pen holders. The flap pockets at the waist, which also incorporate this pen holder idea, are placed right at the bottom of the garment, giving the impression that the jacket has been cut off, that it just stops although the hem is fully finished. As expected the quality of construction and internal finishing is extremely high.
