Wrap skirt by american designer lawrence steele. Made from sheer, dark navy crepe base fabric on top of which two additional fabrics have been layered: one a rich burgundy velvet and the other a navy and burgundy floral velvet devoré / burnout. The sheer crepe base material is longer and wider than the two top layer fabrics (which are sewn to each other as a patchwork), creating a layered effect. The skirt is worn by wrapping around the waist and then secured via long self-fabric ties.
