A vinyl leather skirt by JUNYA WATANABE COMME DES GARCONS. Produced in 1998, the skirt is made from a shiny polyurethane fabric with a soft handle. It has a wrapped opening which is closed with a metal buckle, and allows the waist measurement to be adjusted slightly. There are rows of wide pleats at the front of the skirt, while the back is left flat and is plain in comparison to the front apart from two buttoned jet pockets. The wrapped front means that the hem and front opening will sit with a subtle asymmetry on the body.
