Presented here a black wool dress by JUNYA WATANABE COMME DES GARCONS. Made in 1993 from a soft, stretchy rib knit, the dress is essentially a long tube of fabric which stretches around the body when worn. Because it is strapless, it is tight at the bust, but flares dramatically to the hem. This extra volume at the bottom of the dress hangs off the body and moves beautifully with the wearer. A long, straight seam runs down the center front and back of the dress.
