Bias cut linen slip dress

This product is sold out

A black slip dress by Austrian designer HELMUT LANG. It is a rare example of his early work, produced in Vienna before he relocated to Paris (or later New York). It is made from a lightweight, slightly crumpled linen, and has been cut on the bias so that the dress will sit against the wearer's body. The dress has spaghetti straps made in a muted, peach coloured satin, and the edges are finished with narrow, self fabric bands. Subtle press studs at the left side seam allow the dress to be put on and taken off more easily. The dress is shaped through the body, but flares to create more volume at the hem.

The dress is in good condition overall, but some of the stitching around the spaghetti straps has come loose. This would be easily repaired, or the dress can be worn as is.
