This beautiful blackwatch check shirt by COMME DES GARCONS HOMME is made from a lovely, stiff cotton flannel. It is a satisfyingly thick, substantial fabric but also retains the soft touch feeling of flannel which makes it a pleasure to wear. An otherwise conventional shirt is elevated by the addition of two interesting utility pockets on the left breast, one an enormous, rounded pocket which is opened via a large, exposed zip, and the other a smaller, rectangular flap pocket with a press stud closure which sits on top of the zipped compartment. Both of these pockets are in addition to a more conventional breast pocket on the right breast. The hem of the shirt is cut sharp and square, rather than the rounded shape found on most button down shirts.
