mesh lined zip trench coat

$640.00

A trench coat by COMME DES GARCONS HOMME PLUS, from A/W 2005-2006. Produced in a lightweight, black nylon fabric with a slight sheen, the coat has a double breasted front which can be worn buttoned up, folded down, or open, and a generous cut which makes it suitable for use as a shell layer. The coat has a number of zipped, covered pockets, including two waist pockets at the side seam and a nod to the popular MA-1 bomber in the form of a covered sleeve pocket. The coat is lined in a bright, orange mesh, which can be exposed when the coat is worn via another long, covered zip that runs across the width of the jacket (see pictures). Opening the zip causes the coat to bulge and sit differently on the body, and the exposed, orange mesh produces a dramatic contrast with the black nylon outer. The sleeves are finished with velcro cuffs, and the coat has two internal breast pockets.

It should be noted that the coat has some wear. There are several pulls to the front body fabric, the velcro cuffs have lost some of their stickiness, and a few small marks (see pictures), although the coat has plenty of wear left in it.
