tapered cuffed trousers

This product is sold out

A pair of black, pleated trousers by COMME DES GARCONS HOMME PLUS. Produced in 1989 from a crisp wool gabardine, the trousers have a fly front opening closed with a double button, gently elasticated waist in addition to belt loops, and vertical pockets at the side seams. There is a single pleat on each side of the waist, which adds volume through the legs, and the trousers taper dramatically to the hem where they are finished with sewn in cuffs. The trousers also have two back pockets, with a jet pocket on the right and a buttoned flap pocket on the left. The trousers' comfortable but tapered cut is typical of the style produced by COMME DES GARCONS in the 1980s and early 1990s when these trousers were made.

It should be noted that there is some bruising to the fabric (a sort of sheen that can happen to worsted wools with wear), which is reflected in the low price. See pictures to get a sense for the wear.
