A black mackintosh coat by comme des garcons homme. Made in 1993, it has a point collar, covered button front placket, and welt pockets at the waist. But the most striking aspect of the coat is the material it has been constructed from: a thick creased nylon fabric with a subtle sheen. It is cut long and wide through the body, and flares to the hem, for a comfortable, oversized (and slightly dramatic) fit.
The coat is in good condition, with several small marks and some wear. There is one substantial area of wear, with what appears to be melting (?) to the fabric near the back of them hem (see pictures). None of these marks are especially noticeable in use.
