A dark navy blazer by japanese brand comme des garcons, produced for AW 1993, "synergy". The collection included numerous garments that combined multiple, often contrasting fabrics. Here, a fairly traditional, navy worsted wool blazer has had a piece of grey rib knit attached to the bottom of it, creating both a contrast in colour (navy and grey) and structure (the rigidity of the blazer abruptly giving way to the  knit).

The blazer is in good condition overall, but there is a hole in the rib knit at the back of the garment (see picture 8).
