Comme des garcons boiled polyester pea coat - 2004

Offered here a double breasted coat from COMME DES GARCONS line ROBE DE CHAMBRE. Produced in 2004 from their signature boiled polyester material, the coat has been made up and then garment washed at extreme heat, which creates its shrunken, slightly wrinkled appearance, and causes the orange plastic buttons warping and starting to melt. The double breasted front can either be worn buttoned right up to the neck, or with the lapels folded down, and there are two angled hand pockets at the waist.

It should be noted that although the coat is in great overall condition, there is some piling to the body such as at the neck (see pictures).
