We take pictures of people who visit us and shop pond, and publish them here (you can also find them on the shop pond website). If you ever visit us in person and want a picture, please ask!! Although we may well also ask you! New sets are added monthly-ish (sometimes it takes us a bit longer to post them).

You can click any of the grid images to bring up a lightbox view and see the full picture a little larger. Second life markets - sydney, september 1, 2024

Pictures from the second edition of second life markets' designer edition in sydney. This time around it was staged in the alpha building at 238 castlereagh street, and featured 20+ sellers from around australia. As with the first version of the event, it was lovely to see lots of friendly faces (familiar and unfamiliar), meet folks from sydney, and re-connect with other sellers from around the country that I don't usually get to meet in person. Big thanks also to nadia@SLM for organising + to sofia and giuseppe for all their help on the day!

April - June 2024

This set encompasses quite a wide time frame - three months pretty well (!!) - and a number of shop events: both our autumn and winter 2024 openings, and a launch for nellie may's two week pop-up in the shop pond space. So, it's another big set of pictures. Hope you enjoy!

 

 

March 15 - 17, Sydney for second life markets' first designer market

This set of visitor photos is something a bit out of the ordinary! In march 2024 I was really happy to be able to participate in second life markets' first designer market in sydney. And it seemed like an obvious thing to take the visitor photos with me to sydney as well as taking the clothes. In the end it was pretty hectic on the day (and at times overwhelming), which means it was often too busy to take photos (I was really only able during quieter moments, and towards the end of the day). But still, this set is what I got! Should note that at the start there are also a few pictures I took at 108WAREHOUSE the day after the market, and at the end there are a few pics taken of my friend giuseppe eating a pasty from a.p. bakery out the front of, and then enjoying an iced coffee at, chinatown country club, the day before. Both were stores I was delighted to finally have the chance to visit, and they sort of bookended the trip.

 

December 2023 - March 2024

This is the first set of visitor photos we since we moved from a flat shop, our previous space on gresham street. It's taken us a while to edit and publish, so it covers quite a long period of time - four months pretty much (as opposed to the usual one month or so)!! So you'll find a lot covered in this set: our first few weeks and the lead up to christmas 2023, the beginnings of 2024, the adelaide festival and fringe, and our recent(ish) website launch for shop pond + wrinqle capsule collection.
