Filter store is an online shop based in adelaide, australia. We sell old clothes, books, and (from time to time) other ephemera, in particular garments by japanese and european labels including: comme des garcons, dirk bikkembergs, issey miyake, jean colonna, jean paul gaultier, junya watanabe, maison martin margiela, yohji yamamoto, and others. Our primary aim is to find, document (photograph + describe), and sell garments that we find beautiful, clever, curious, good, compelling, distinctive, funny, interesting, ludicrous, moving, novel, powerful, preposterous, ridiculous, singular, stirring, and or/striking, to people who feel similarly.

Filter store exists online (here, presuming you're reading this at https://filterstore.com.au/pages/about), and also in the physical as part of a flat shop in adelaide, south australia. It's open from tuesday - saturday, and also hosts mineral tufts in addition to a selection of new and old clothes, flatwares (homewares), publications, and works by other practitioners and labels.

Our physical shop (which we co-operate with a flat shop) is currently closed while we fit out our new space at shops 4-5 ebenezer place, adelaide SA, 5000. But we will be reopening soon!
