Offered here a black double breasted blazer from YOHJI YAMAMOTO mens line Y'S FOR MEN. It is produced in a substantial wool suiting, has large, peak lapels, and a six button front. As is common for Yamamoto's menswear, the blazer has padded shoulders and a generous, oversized silhouette. The double breasted closure is fastened using an interior strap which extends from the armhole, rather than the conventional buttonhole fastening. This means the blazer can be worn partially open, unbuttoned but with the strap fastened, so that one side of the jacket is held in place across the body and the other flaps open. Yamamoto often uses this finish, an old tailoring detail which has largely fallen into disuse, in his double breasted garments. The jacket also has two exterior patch pockets at the waist, in addition to three interior pockets, and is beautifully finished as you'd expect from YOHJI YAMAMOTO.
