This long, sleeveless dress from TRICOT COMME DES GARÇONS from 1992 is produced here in a soft, sumptuous boiled wool with a deep green, navy, and black plaid. The dress has a flared, A-line shape, but the softness of the wool means that rather than sitting out stiffly the fabric falls gently down against the wearer, creating the appearance of an elegant, comfortable sack dress. The dress is unlined, and relatively devoid of details apart from a button closure at the shoulder. This places the emphasis firmly on the quality of the fabric itself.
