Peter Storm 1992 light blue W1 proofed wool round neck waterproof jumper
A pale blue wool jumper by british outdoor company peter storm (1992), in the "fisherman's rib sweater" (705) style. Made in a thick wool rib knit, the jumper has a crew neck, raglan sleeve construction, and ribbed cuffs and hem. The jumper has been treated with peter storm's "W.1 proofing", which "makes the outer membrane of wool completely waterproof" but "does not seal the pores in the outer membrane, and does not touch the absorbent core" (which means it should breathe as well as a regular (non-waterproof) jumper).
Decent condition, with some pilling and fraying to small sections of hem rib (see pictures 8-9). Please note that although fibres / surface of fabric is waterproof, water may still get through gaps in the knit over time.
