Black trousers by french designer jean colonna, made from an unlined, fairly lightweight worsted wool with an unusual sparkly finish (to the extent that would have expected metallic thread but composition label just says "100% wool"). They have a medium-high waist, with a generous cut through the thigh and wideish leg. The trousers have a pleated front, and angled slash pockets at the waist, the edges of which have been finished with overlocking (a common finish for jean colonna garments).

Please note the trousers do not have belt loops, making the fit in the waist more important than usual.
