A black, button up shirt by cult Japanese brand UNDERCOVER. The shirt is from their sought after Autumn / Winter 1999 - 2000 collection, "AMBIVALENCE", and is made from a soft, crisp cotton shirting with a faint sheen. It has a concealed front button placket and velcro flap closure at the neck and cuffs, leaving the shirt free of any visible trimmings or hardware when it is buttoned up. This gives it a restrained, austere quality that other, more conventional concealed placket shirts - which typically have a visible top button - do not have to the same degree. The shirt also has two clean, rectangular flap pockets, a neat point collar, and is part lined with a shiny black mesh. As is common for some UNDERCOVER garments, the stitching line of the rectangular garment label is visible on the outside of the shirt.
